What the peyote bead pattern maker does
Beadalia is a peyote bead pattern maker in the browser. You paint Miyuki Delica beads on a staggered grid that matches even-count flat peyote, plus 2-drop and 3-drop. Beads sit in real Delica proportions — slightly taller than they are wide — not as coloured squares.
One row on the grid is a full zigzag (two needle passes), the same convention as PlanBead-style charts. The first strand you string is rows 1 and 2 at once; from there you add beads into the gaps. Drawing, catalogue browsing and the live canvas are free and do not need an account. A live draft is not capped. The free plan limits named saved designs to five once you have an account — palettes are not under that cap.
How it works
Choose peyote and a Delica size
Open the pattern editor and set the stitch to peyote, peyote 2-drop or peyote 3-drop, then a size — 11/0, 15/0, 10/0 or 8/0. For Follow later, even-count width must be divisible by twice the drop (2, 4 or 6 beads).
Paint on a real Delica palette
Pick colours from the official Miyuki Delica catalogue — names, DB codes, finishes — and colour bead by bead. Materials update while you work.
Export, or stitch from Follow
PNG is free with no account. A personal PDF needs a free account. When you stitch, Follow reads the pattern row by row, including even-count 2-drop and 3-drop peyote.
Miyuki Delica colours, by official code
The catalogue lists 1,897 Miyuki Delica beads across the four sizes — 1,266 distinct colours, every one of them available in 11/0 — with DB codes, Miyuki names, glass type, finish and durability. Order by code, not by the on-screen swatch. Swatches are generated from catalogue data, not photographs, and metallic or AB finishes look different in hand.

What it calculates while you draw
The materials panel is free. It counts beads per colour, grams for the selected Delica size, finished width and height in millimetres, an approximate thread length, and a beading-needle recommendation (for example nr. 10–12 on 11/0).

Photo to peyote pattern

Follow even-count peyote row by row
Follow is the row-by-row reader. For even-count flat peyote — including 2-drop and 3-drop — it keeps the current row in view. Advance with the keyboard, a timer, a Bluetooth remote, or voice. Voice is free on every plan, and unlimited.
Odd-count peyote can be drawn on the grid. Follow refuses it: the alternating end-of-row step-up is not modelled. The word chart in Follow (and in the PDFs) is grid order, left to right — a caption for the picture on screen, not a traditional peyote stitch-order chart.

What is the word chart?
It is a left-to-right, grid-order run-length list of each row — free in Follow, and included in the personal PDF (account) and the shop-branded PDF (Pro). It is not a peyote stitch-order chart.
Can I sell peyote patterns I make here?
Yes. Designs you create are yours. The personal PDF (Beadalia cover, legend, chart, word chart) is free with an account. The shop-branded PDF — your logo, colours and cover — is Pro.
