Artkal fuse beads — color charts
Artkal publishes three fuse bead ranges. S is the 5 mm Midi bead. C and M are both 2.6 mm Mini beads, with different colour ranges and different code systems.
The swatches are synthetic renders, not photos. Artkal publishes an RGB value for most colours and we use it as printed. For the ranges its chart shows as swatches without a number, the value is either the one printed on Artkal's poster or one we sampled from the official chart image — those are marked, and the app never matches a colour against them. What is the difference between Artkal S, C and M?
S is 5mm across (Midi); C and M are both 2.6mm beads (Mini) with different colour ranges and their own code systems. A C code and an M code are never interchangeable — each series numbers its own colours.
How to use Artkal colours in a pattern
- Pick colours from the fuse palette generator, filtered to the Artkal series you have on hand.
- Turn a photo or drawing into a pattern with the image-to-pattern converter, or start from a blank grid with the fuse bead pattern maker.
- Swap individual beads for an exact Artkal code in the pattern editor before you start fusing.
How to find an Artkal colour code
Each series page above has a search field, a filter by finish — solid, translucent, pearl, glow, UV, neon, glitter, duo — a filter for colours whose RGB Artkal publishes, and a favourites star for the codes you reach for often. Switch series from the same page: search, filters and favourites work the same way on S, C and M.
The search matches the code, not the colour name. Typing S13 finds that bead; typing red finds nothing. Artkal names are not consistent enough across the three series to search by, so the code is the thing that always works.
Why some colours have no RGB value
Artkal prints a numeric RGB value for most of its colours but not for all of them, and which ranges are missing differs by series: in S it is the stripe, pearl, translucent, glow-in-the-dark, glitter, neon and UV ranges, in C the translucent, glow-in-the-dark and pearl ones, and in M a single transparent colour. Those appear in the official charts as swatches only. They are listed here with their codes and their family, and no colour value is shown for them, because Artkal has not published one. The counts above separate the two: the last column is how many of the range carry a value.
