Seed bead brick stitch offsets the rows, and stands the hole up
On seed bead brick stitch, every other row is pushed right by half a bead. That wall-bond is how a brick stitch beading pattern is built: each bead sits in the dip between two beads on the row below. A 2-drop or 3-drop canvas keeps the same rule and scales the shift by the drop — two or three half-beads, not one.
The bead itself is turned. Brick sits the hole vertically, the way a catalogue swatch is drawn, so a cell is wider than it is tall. Loom sits the hole horizontally, on an aligned rectangle, and the cell is taller than it is wide — that grid is on the bead loom pattern maker. Follow single-drop brick stitch beading — not 2-drop, not 3-drop
Follow is free. For single-drop brick it starts on a ladder (row 0), then each later row picks up a bead, passes under the thread bridge of the row below, and comes back up through the new bead. Odd width and even width both work — brick has no peyote-style end-of-row step-up. The canvas needs at least two beads across: the ladder begins with two.
Brick 2-drop and Brick 3-drop can be painted, and the row offset is drawn. Follow refuses them. The technique exists; this app has not verified a needle path for it, so it will not invent one as an instruction. Advance with Enter, Space, tap or the arrow keys, or with the auto-advance timer. Voice is free and unlimited on every plan.
The word chart in Follow — and in the personal PDF — is a left-to-right, grid-order run-length list of each row. It captions the picture on screen. It is not a serpentine stitch-order chart.
Counts, grams and thread for a brick stitch bead pattern

Brick uses the off-loom estimate: columns × rows × bead length × 1.8, plus 800 mm of tails, on the full canvas, not only the painted cells. Loom warp and weft live on the loom page.

Cost and profit are Pro, and they read the prices you typed into inventory — there is no catalogue price list. A colour with no price shows as missing, not as zero.

Does brick Follow need an even number of beads across?
No. Odd width and even width both work on single-drop brick. Follow does need at least two beads across, because the ladder starts with two.
How is brick different from peyote or loom in the editor?
Brick offsets odd rows and sits the bead hole vertically (cells wider than tall). Loom is an aligned rectangle with the hole horizontal. Peyote offsets columns. Those two stitches have their own pages.
What is the word chart?
Each row as a left-to-right run of colours, in grid order. Follow shows it for free. The personal PDF includes it (account); the shop-branded PDF includes it unless you turn it off (Pro). It is not a needle-order chart.
